SCHEDULE, TUITION  & RULES

Registration for classes can be made online or by mail. Registration Form, Liability Waiver, and payment must all be received for registration to be complete. Forms can be mailed to the studio: 111 Old McHenry Road, Long Grove, IL 60047.

ALL classes for the 2020-2021 dance season are offered in-person and via Zoom. Class size restrictions are in place, anywhere from 8-15 dancers per class. We are requiring dancers to wear masks while entering the building and while participating in class. Temperatures will be taken and our lobby is closed to all parents and family. 

Recital 2021

  • Dress Rehearsals Wednesday, June 9th and Thursday. June 10th at Wauconda High School 

  • Picture Day: Saturday. May 8th (No regular classes in session)

Studio Closed​

  • Labor Day: Monday, September 7, 2020

  • Thanksgiving Break: Monday, November 22, 2020 – Saturday, November 28, 2020

  • Winter Break: Monday, December 21, 2020 – Saturday, January 2, 2021

  • Spring Break: Monday, March 22, 2021 – Saturday, March 27, 2021

  • Memorial Day: Monday, May 31, 2021

Fall /Winter Session II Tuition Rates (October 26, 2020-December 19, 2020)

  • Yearly Registration Fees: $10 per student or $15 per family (due with 1st payment)

  • 30-Minute Class $90

  • 45-Minute Class $115

  • 10% discount on 1st additional class

  • 12% discount on all additional classes

**Please note, the fees listed are for ONE session (10/26-12/19). The TOTAL tuition fees for the 2020-2021 season will not exceed our 2019-2020 tuition fees. The 2019-2020 tuition fees were $470/45-minute class, $500/60-minute class, dance company tuition $530-560, plus additional class discounts. 

Tuition Payment Schedule

Due to COVID-19 our 2020-2021 dance season will look different than years past. We are hopeful that we will be able to move to our more traditional scheduling sometime in 2021. For now, our season is split up into "mini" sessions throughout the season.  

 

** We encourage all credit/debit card payments to be made through our online system. All Credit/Debit Card Payments will include a 3% convenience fee.

Check, Cash or Credit-Debit Card Payments Accepted.

Tuition is due at the time of registration. 

Discounts

  • Students taking 2 or more classes will receive a 10% discount on their second class

  • Students taking 3 or more classes will receive a 12% discount on their third and beyond class

  • Families will 3 or more students enrolled in dance will receive a 15% discount on total tuition

  • Only one discount allowed per family

Fees

  • A $10 late fee will be added to your account for ALL tuition and costume payments that are submitted past the due date. Tuition and costume payments that go beyond one week will incur an additional $10 late fee per week.

  • A $30 service fee will be charged for any returned checks.

  • Tuition will not be prorated or refunded due to holidays, absences, or studio closings due to weather.  If an enrolled student is absent (due to injury, illness or vacation) there will no credit or refund of tuition. Students can make up classes at your convenience any time during the present dance year. Please see your teacher for appropriate make up class times.

Studio Rules

  • Please have your dancers name written in all dance shoes. Valuables should not be brought to the studio. The studio is not responsible for any stolen or misplaced items.

  • All tuition and outstanding balances must be paid prior to distribution of recital costumes.

  • All tuition payments are non-refundable. 

  • Students must be enrolled and registered for classes by January 2, 2021 to participate in the annual recital.

  • Dancers must come dressed in dance attire, not street clothes. Please have all hair secured in a ponytail or bun and wear required dance shoes.

  • All In Motion Dance choreography is to be used only for In Motion Dance events and performances.

  • No food or drink (besides water) will be allowed in the dance studio or lobby.

  • Please drop off and pick up your students on time.
